sessionLAND Privacy Policy
Night Lunch LLC · Last updated October 26, 2026
This policy covers the sessionLAND app and our websites (nightlunchaudio.com, nightlunchco.com and sessionland.com). Night Lunch LLC ("we", "us") makes sessionLAND.
The short version
sessionLAND doesn't send anything over the internet on its own. Your sessions, audio, track names and settings stay on your Mac. We only see what you choose to send us, like an email or a support log, and we use it only to help you.
What the app does on your Mac
sessionLAND works on your files locally. It doesn't phone home, track how you use it, or show ads. It keeps these things on your Mac:
- your settings, templates, presets and the renames it has learned;
- logs of what each import and export did, kept in your Library folder (
Application Support/sessionLAND), with older ones deleted automatically; - temporary copies of files during an import, in a shared folder on your Mac.
To talk to Pro Tools, sessionLAND uses Pro Tools' own connection, which runs between the two apps on the same Mac and doesn't go out to the internet.
Permissions it asks for
- Accessibility, so it can operate Pro Tools windows by name.
- Automation, so it can send commands to Pro Tools and System Events.
- Files and folders you pick, so it can read and write the audio and sessions you choose.
You can turn any of these off in System Settings › Privacy & Security. Some features will stop working if you do.
When you send us something
Support logs. Under Preferences › General, Save Support Logs makes one zip file containing sessionLAND's own logs, its crash reports, and a short file about your system (macOS version, Mac model, sessionLAND version, Pro Tools version). It never includes audio, sessions, templates or settings. The logs can include file, track and session names, because that's what sessionLAND was working on. The zip is saved on your Mac and only reaches us if you send it from your own email app.
Email. If you write to us, we get your email address and whatever you include.
Beta requests and news. If you ask to join the beta or to hear from us, we get your name, email address and whatever else you tell us.
We use all of this only to answer you, fix problems, run the beta, and, if you asked for it, send you news. We don't sell it, rent it or use it for advertising. We keep support logs only as long as we need them to fix the problem, and no longer than 12 months. We keep emails and mailing-list details until you ask us to delete them or unsubscribe.
Our websites
Our websites don't use advertising trackers. Our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and to keep the sites running. If we add visitor counts later, we'll use a privacy-friendly service and name it here.
Who else sees it
We use a few companies to run things: Cloudflare hosts our websites and receives our email, and our mail is read in Google's Gmail. They handle your information only to provide their service to us. We'll also share information if the law requires it, or if Night Lunch is sold or merged, in which case this policy still applies to your information.
Your choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we'll do it within 30 days. If we ever send a newsletter, every one will have an unsubscribe link.
Kids
sessionLAND is made for audio professionals. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, tell us and we'll delete it.
Accounts and payments
sessionLAND doesn't have accounts yet. When we add sign-in or sell licenses, we'll update this policy first and say exactly what that collects. Card payments will be handled by our payment processor, and we'll never see your full card number.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
